EcoTech Marine VorTech Battery Backup
The EcoTech Marine VorTech Battery Backup is reef tank insurance in an aluminum housing. Power outages are unpredictable, and in an aquarium without flow, fish and corals can begin to die in as little as 4 to 10 hours. The Battery Backup keeps your VorTech pumps running at full speed for up to 36 hours on an MP40w, and up to 72 hours on an MP10 or MP20 — long enough to outlast most power interruptions.
The Battery Backup is also compatible with EcoTech Vectra return pumps when paired with the Vectra Battery Backup Booster cable. Connect two Battery Backups in parallel to double your run time. Simple plug-and-play installation, auto on/off mode, and Mobius app compatibility make this the easiest and most reliable backup solution in the hobby.
